In order to prepare you for your own final research paper, this assignment will help you better understand the elements of TV studies. This 3-4 page paper will ask you to examine the elements of television studies literature. You will dissect and analyze one of the chapters from our textbook not assigned in our class by identifying the following elements:
- The main object of study
- The evidence the author uses
- The larger argument
- The broader implications
You will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Your clear identification of the author’s object, evidence, and argument (40 points)
- The thoroughness of your analysis & implications discussion (40 points)
- The clarity and quality of your writing (20 points)
