Bronski tells us that “LGBT people, despite enormous struggles to be accepted and to be given equality, have made America what it is today – that great, fascinating, complicated, sometimes horrible, sometimes wonderful place that it was in the beginning.” But his today stops sometime around the year 2000.
With this in mind, write a history of LGBT America from 1990 to 2020, that seeks to show how LGBT Americans have “made it what it is today.” – i.e., in the here and now.
