The websites for five think tanks have been provided below. This is not a comprehensive list; however, these five are very prominent. Review the articles and commentary related to education for each of these think tanks. Find one particular article or commentary on one of the think tank websites and write an essay that addresses the following:
- What is the purpose of this article?
- Describe any political slant related to the article and the think tank.
- Describe the agenda of the think tank.
- What type of policy would the authors of this article like to see implemented? What do you perceive to be their motivation for advocating for this policy?
- Describe how the implementation of this policy might impact local school operations.
- Assess the research used to support the policy.
- What are your thoughts on the policy that this think tank advocates?
