Are you addicted to your cell phone? Technology has placed incredible powers in our hands, literally. Many social media platforms have already acknowledged that their software interface is planned to be addictive. Think about the amount you use your phone, how you use it, and the effect it has on your consciousness (emotion, focus, thinking patterns, routines). Does it meet the criteria for addiction? Why, or why not?
This is an opinion piece no more than 2 pages long, but I want you to use citations and references to independent reading you have completed. Make sure your opinion is evidence-informed. You can use I statements but remember your paper will be stronger if you speak not just to your own experience, but what the literature suggests to make a stronger case.
I attached a ppt, look over page 13-18 about addiction. However you need to do your independent research.
